1 – Posture – Crucial – stand up. Open up. Maybe bend over a ‘fit ball’ – into a large inverted ‘C’ shape.
(Your lungs need the space to work). Look at the ‘Salute to the Sun’ yoga set of positions. Start your day with these (10) or a modification if you are somewhat ability challenged.
2 – Diaphragm – the wall of muscle separating the upper third of your torso (chest cavity) from the abdomen. The free flow of pure air in to revitalise your body, and a discharge/sending out what you are finished with. A large portion of your exhaled breath is ‘reject’. Not to be rebreathed. We can encourage release of that which is stuck, starting the process of healing. 3 – Movement – Skipping rope – take one outside – or go through the pretend moves – wake up all the lymph/stuck fluid! Get your Qi flowing . . Hard and fast – 60 seconds.
4 – Move your lymph – across your chest – gentle shallow moves initially – and gradually get more adventurous – you may feel your neck free up and maybe under your shoulder let go – it is all connected. .
