3 – Safety

Have to feel safe FIRST

Maybe you have never felt safe.

Is your default setting (being in utero – due to your mum’s early experiences)

  • Fight?
  • Flight? or
  • Freeze?

You body can say NO very easily – we put on a smile instead of lashing out.  Please watch – When the Body Says No

PLUS – Most women (and a lot of men when younger)  have had a fearful sexual incident at some point in their lives.
Sexual trauma? (What Lies Beneath?) It is likely still in your story

Is life too hard? You can’t necessarily be in survival mode ALL your life.
The ‘stress’ you may have always felt . . may be time to release this. Then all the body angst/warnings/distress will also be released. This is so much more important than what goes in mouth. Why? You need to be able to digest. Feeling unsafe and distressed means that you have the likelihood of gut problems – you cannot stomach life.
