Lustration – sprinkling water

Sprinkling life energy

As part of the expression of the negative ions that are released with water droplets of all kinds.

Water in all its forms in nature grants life giving negative ions – AND hydration

NOTE – Lustration, (from Latin lustratio, “purification by sacrifice”), any of various processes in ancient Greece and Rome whereby individuals or communities rid themselves of ceremonial impurity (e.g., bloodguilt, pollution incurred by contact with childbirth or with a corpse) or simply of the profane or ordinary state, which made it dangerous to come into contact with sacred rites or objects. The methods varied from sprinkling with or washing in water, through rubbing with various substances, such as blood or clay, to complicated ceremonies, some of which involved confession of sins. Fumigation was also used. Not really what we are doing here – we are being respectful and clearing ourselves and the environment – and any who need assistance . .

Sourced on an early morning walk in the middle of Perth – to go into the Homebirth Conference – as these always stir up trouble – what we wanted, what we got, what space we held, what stories we hear, loves and lives lost . .

Rosemary, stray flowers – (never rue or a sappy one as frangapani/oleander etc are very poisonous).

I use rosemary sprigs and 9 marigold heads – that is my standard for cleansing.
Instantly refreshing – it clears away.

Grown in my humble garden – anyone can.

Especially if you offer up intentional thoughts/prayers

Mindful action
