Soil and water – depends on local geography.
Life is not quality or optimally human outcome based.
Minerals are elements that originate in the Earth and cannot be made by living organisms. Plants must extract minerals from the soil (unlikely now super phosphate and modern farming methods are so prevalent – commonly used pesticides inhibit the uptake of nutrients and blocks nutrient pathways – our gut is the equivalent of the sol for plants). Eat organic where possible. More on soil and human health here.
Most hear of the major ones – magnesium, iron, calcium – but the minerals also essential are often missing altogether as they are not replaced in agriculture, yet crucial to human functioning.
Supplementation with all minerals is a must, as is a varied diet.
Choose bone broths, organ meats and other sacred foods that are so as they collect what we need for repair of ourselves, reproduction and vibrant health for all.
